With less then 3 weeks to go before I head out on my much anticipated travel adventure, I am surrounded with end of year madness and major road rage..... I find myself becoming a not nice person........
After a long day yesterday which was hot and muggy, I headed over to my Dad's house to make him dinner. I decided we would eat outside under the covered patio. Within minuets of sitting down the wind started to whip the huge trees around, the sky become a luminous spiders web of lightening and thunder deafened all other noise...... We sat and ate watching feeling and listening to amazing high-veld storm.
The wind thrust the rain in every direction and next the hail came down covering the lawn with a thick layer of white - Jozi's idea of snow. I choose to stay out as it has been years since I really experienced this force of nature...... It is such a norm to run inside turn on the lights, close the doors and hide from this orchestra of nature......
